Located steps away from The Little Menu Restaurant and a 15-minute walk from Hoi An Central Market, Herbs and Spices Cooking Class was created as a platform for Chef and Owner Son Tran to share his expertise in cooking and passion for Vietnamese food.

 

The cooking class features a spacious working station and an immaculate open air kitchen equipped with professional facilities. Participants are provided with commercial-grade knives, kitchenware and appliances so that they are never hampered or frustrated by inferior equipment. Son Tran and his team find that using professional cooking tools allows the students to focus on the “how” of preparing this amazing food, and mastery and confidence are achieved much more quickly by using the right tools.

 

Herbs and Spices only hosts SMALL classes, with a maximum of 8 guests. This allows Chef Son Tran to focus his attention on each participant, ensuring difficulties are overcome and learners get enough help to build confidence to do it on their own the next time.
